This is by far, the most common question we get asked, and fair enough, as a vendors budget for marketing needs to be taken into consideration when deciding on whether aerial shots are needed for a particular property.
Firstly and most importantly we conduct a safety assessment of the location. We check for nearby hazards, check flight zones, seek approvals from necessary councils or other departments and then conduct a detailed flight plan of the area to ensure it is legal and safe. With over 800 flights under our belts (or props) we know the angles we need to get and the heights we need to be at to achieve this, if we need to make adjustments, we can do so. We are also fully insured with public liability insurance and are registered with CASA. Now with the boring stuff out of the way we can get to what you came here for, pricing.... Mostly, for residential lots under 2 acres, we have a charge of $149.00 (subject to change over time), this price includes all travel to and from the location, normally 20-40mins of flight time and 60-90 minutes of editing costs including Light Room, Photoshop and our custom drop pins that are created on Adobe Illustrator. We will resize to realestate.com.au's preferred size of 4:3, 2000x1500pixels, and normally 1.5-2mb. If you'd like a different size, please let us know, however we have found this to be ideal for mobile and PC. We have noticed that the larger sizes will cut into the watermark on the mobile devices. We will put on dimensions if required, add a blur or mono (black and white) the background if necessary and straighten and colour correct all photos. All of our photos are taken in RAW format - which allows us to bring out the colours and highlights better to make the shots pop out of the screen. All of our information is sourced via council websites for accuracy, and we rarely need any further information from the agent to get started, meaning you can concentrate on what you do best, while we get the drone photography sorted. Our usual delivery for the photos is same day, often less than 12 hours from the time of the shoot. Our price is very competitive - we are unaware of anyone offering the same product for a lesser price. We are aware that many of our competition are charging far more for far less, often with some very sub standard editing, ugly labels and often the basics such as straightening the horizon are missed. This may be because they haven't subscribed to a paid editing program so simply do not have the ability to so as we do. We will deliver as many photos as we see necessary to sell the property and its angles. Often 5-10 shots will cover all angles, showing off multiple points of interest and giving the agent and vendor flexibility on the shots they choose to market the property. We have worked with many of Perth's top agents from the biggest brands to the boutiques, and even the smallest of boutique agencies. We are here to help you stand out from the sea of sameness. Our latest drop pin designs incorporate the agents profile picture into the pin, to give a professional look, without looking cheesy. It also sit high enough above the property to not block the view of the home. It's been a hit with agents and is sure to catch on to my competitors, just remember, you saw it here first.
